Summer School


The summer school is held annually over a period of 3-4 days at Jouvence Resort, located in the Eastern-Townships. It is a mandatory activity for QSciTech-funded students*. The summer school goals are to deepen the trainees professionnal training and widen their view of quantum technologies.

*All expenses are covered. One attendance mandatory for M.Sc. students, two for Ph.D. students.



  • Professional skills training;
  • Specialized technical topics of current interest to the industry;
  • Short pitch student presentations of research projects;
  • Hot topics in quantum technologies presented by students;
  • Social issues in science and technology.

Jouvence is located on a 194-acre site on the shores of Lake Stukely in Parc national du Mont-Orford. It offers a unique setting for scientific conferences, combining nature and hospitality.

Various activities are available on site to unwind between presentations and discussions, such as volleyball, archery, climbing, canoe, hiking, and much more.
